Despite the ongoing health crisis brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation held its 74th Commencement Exercises through Facebook and YouTube Live on Oct. 30, 2021.

It was the second time that the University has conducted a virtual ceremony for its graduates, respecting the safety and health protocols in place.

The event began with an audio-visual presentation and was hosted by Raisa Marizka Ver as the Master of Ceremony.

Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Maano, the new University Chaplain, then led the invocation, followed by the entrance of colors by NROTC cadets, and the National Anthem was sung by the MSEUF Concert Singers.

Karen Morales, a Juris Doctor candidate from Enverga Law School and an Outstanding Law Graduate awardee, delivered her commencement address.

Subsequently, Vice President for Academics Benilda Villenas, along with the respective academic deans, led the endorsement of the candidates for graduation and the presentation of faculty members.

Madam Naila Leveriza, MSEUF President and COO, then conferred the degrees, titles, and certificates, congratulating the graduates in her address.

The 560 candidates for graduation comprised 18 students from the College of Maritime Education (CME), 16 from the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies (CCMS), 28 from the College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (CIHTM), 8 from the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNAHS), 21 from the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology (CCJC), 22 from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), 50 from the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), 35 from the College of Education (CED), 12 from the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA), 268 from the College of Engineering (CEng), 12 from Enverga Law School, and 70 from the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research.

Among the graduates, 10 received special awards, which were presented by Evelyn Abeja, VP for Administration. The graduates were then enumerated during the distribution of diplomas and certificates.

Afterwards, Alton John de Luna, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Financial Management and Business Analytics, led the recitation of the Pledge of Loyalty to the Alma Mater. The graduates were then inducted into the MSEUF Alumni Association Inc. by Architect Raul Villanueva, its president.

The singing of the University Hymn and Alma Mater Song by the MSEUF Concert Singers, along with the concluding remarks by the host, marked the end of the ceremony, which lasted for at least two hours.
