For the first time in Fiestanglaw’s 14-year history, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) introduced the Krismas Sunduan, a festive parade where student councils and organizations picked up their handcrafted Christmas lanterns at their designated departments.

This new twist added a special touch to the annual Christmas celebration, making it a unique highlight of this year’s festivities.

Nine parol were paraded, representing various departments and organizations such as the College of Architecture and Fine Arts, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business and Accountancy, College of Computing and Multimedia Studies, College of Criminal Justice and Criminology (CCJC), College of Engineering, College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (CIHTM), College of Maritime Education (CME) and the Honor Society of the Lambda Kappa Phi.

Moreover, the parade began at the CCJC building and made its way through the CME and CIHTM buildings before concluding at the University Gymnasium, where all the lantern entries were displayed, filling the campus with Paskong Pinoy spirit.

Gianne Pagana, UCSC President, explained that the Krismas Sunduan aimed to showcase the unity and warm holiday spirit of the Enverga community.

“We wanted to show the true essence of Paskong Pinoy here at Enverga,” Pagana said.

Furthermore, the parol were handcrafted by students with recycled materials, reflecting Filipino creativity and the spirit of Christmas.

As the parade route was filled with excitement, each lantern represented its respective department and the festive cheer of the Envergan community.

This year’s event marked a new tradition in Fiestanglaw, uniting various student organizations in a shared celebration of Filipino Christmas traditions.

The Krismas Sunduan is expected to continue for years to come, symbolizing the unity and spirit that define Enverga University and the Filipino Christmas season.
