The Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) is set to roll out H.O.P.E. (Healing Our Paths through Expression), a campus-wide psychoeducational program that aims to promote students’ mental well-being through self-discovery, mindfulness, and creative expression, from Aug. 3 to 28.
The initiative will begin with Module 1: “Beyond the Vibe: Unmasking Myself,” an interactive session that encourages students to reflect on their thoughts, emotions, values, and lived experiences through visual art. Participants will also learn how healthy self-expression can support emotional well-being while fostering empathy and meaningful dialogue in a safe and supportive environment.
The first module will be conducted by department, starting with CCJC, CCMS, and CNHAS on Aug. 3, followed by CINTM and CAFA on Aug. 14, CAS and CED on Aug. 18, and CENG, CBA, and CME on Aug. 28.
Beyond the opening session, the H.O.P.E. program will feature four psychoeducational modules covering personal discovery and awareness, mindful thinking, expressive art, and finding meaning through reflection, equipping students with practical tools for emotional resilience, self-awareness, and healthy coping.
