Five thousand one hundred seven MSEUF students took the annual Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) psychological testing on October 22 to 27 at St. Bonaventure Student Center and Rodolfo Abadilla (RBA) Hall.

This was the first time the OSAS Guidance and Testing Office has conducted their psychological testing on-site after two years of online set-up which was led by Ms. Adria Shayne C. Sustento, RPm, and Ms. Alviña R. Bolo, RPm.

The test for 1st-year, 4th-year, and 5th-year CAFA students was situated at the St. Bonaventure Student Center, while the test for 2nd-year and 3rd-year students was located in the RBA Hall; however, CIHTM students conducted their tests in their department.

Meanwhile, college departments were grouped according to the number of their enrollees and were scheduled per day: October 24 for CBA, CME, and CAFA; October 25 for CCJC and CNAHS; October 26 for CAS and CCMS; October 27 for CIHTM and CEd. The CEng department was rescheduled on November 18 after it was postponed due to Typhoon Paeng.

Moreover, the Graduate School took their psychological testing in the RBA Hall and was divided into three sets according to the following: the 1st set included MAED, MAEN, MAPE, MASE, MAT, and MIT; the 2nd set included MBA, MM, MPA, and MSMA; and the 3rd set were comprised of MLIS, MSCJ, Ph.D. IN ENG, DIT, DM, and EDD.

According to Ms. Sustento, taking psychological testing is essential in gauging and assessing students’ strengths and weaknesses as individuals.

The results from the psychological tests will serve as a reference for future intervention programs of OSAS Guidance and Testing Office that will aid students in areas they have troubles with.

The psychological test results will reveal students’ psychological profiles that will be available for request next semester through their email, osas_psychomet@mseuf.edu.ph, or walk-in visit. The psychological tests were administered through standardized tests in which students answered with pencil and pen.
