Students, parents, and faculty personnel flocked to the University Gymnasium to witness the Miss Enverga University 2023 Talent Exposition, Jan. 30.

With its face-to-face return after two years of pandemic, the talent competition elicited mixed reactions from the teachers and students.

“After 2 years of distance learning and of course we didn’t experience physical activities for a long time. Now I can say we are back, here we go again,” Shaira said.

Mae Dador De Mesa from the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies (CCMS) led the contest followed by Alexza Mae Espiritu ng College of Engineering (CEng), Jan Ivy Eunice De Galicia of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Kassandra Nicole Zagala of the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology (CCJC), and Judy Ann Salvatierra from the Institute of Graduates Studies, and Research (IGSR).

Next performances featured Nicel Sabellano of the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), Danielle Kate Desaluna from the College of Education (CED), Trisha Mae Doce of the College of Maritime Education (CME), Raihjja Lames of the Senior High School (Bed-SHS), Mary Kristel Gail Aldea from the College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (CIHTM), and Kate Eunice Viterbo from the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNAHS).

Only eleven (11) of the twelve (12) candidates will compete for the crown on February 10, 2023 as the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA) student, Jovi Ann Calsado, was not included in the selection as Miss Enverga 2023.

However, Calsado was still included in the Filipiniana and Evening gown portion of this pageant.

Although the results were not given on the day of the Talent Competition, Danielle Kate Desaluna from the College of Education bagged the Best in Talent special award.
