Looking for something new other than your usual go-to’s in the canteen? Fret not for Happy Chicken is now serving at our canteen!

If you suddenly crave the smell of fried chicken, Happy Chicken is just a short distance away. This is one of the newest stalls found in the MSEUF Central Canteen. Now, Happy Chicken started its operation on the first day of school last January 16, 2023.

This stall mostly consists of a variety of rice and chicken meals, bucket meals, and also cold refreshments, a tray of meals, and snacks such as fries and pops.

According to the seller, their best-selling menu is the one-piece Original Chicken with rice. It consists of one rice, one medium chicken, and thick gravy. The golden brown chicken coating gives off a crunchy sound and juicy meat.

The gravy has a taste similar to Jollibee’s gravy. The price is PHP 89 with rice, and without it, costs PHP 80. Even though the price of the meal is slightly higher than other rice meals, the meal is worth it, as it fully satisfies the customers’ cravings. The golden chicken answers the question why it became their best-selling meal.

Happy Chicken menu provides a number of options: Family Bundles, Sulit Saya Bowls, and Happy Isaw. The Family Bundle has three sets: Bundle A includes Happy Chan Pasta and Cheesy Chicken Lumpia (15 pieces) while Bundle B comprises of 6 pieces of chicken and Happy Chan Pasta. On the other hand, Bundle C contains lumpia (6 pieces), Cheesy Chicken, Happy Chan Pasta, and chicken (6 pieces).

All of these bundles are good for six persons. These are ideal for a group of friends, students, or employees who want to share and enjoy the bucket meal together.

For those who wanted to try something aside from their best-selling fried chicken, the Sulit Saya Bowls give students another special, affordable twist. These rice bowls consist of different viands: Chicken sisig w/ egg, Cheesy Chicken Lumpia, Happy Chan Pasta, Pinoy BBQ, and Garlic Mayo Chicken.

To make it more unusual, they offer Happy Isaw in two flavours: Spicy and Korean Soy. These give students more options to pick and choose what they want.

If you wish to try, the stall is located on the right side of the canteen specifically found between Black Plates (closed condition) and Chicha.
