CEng Tigers, dumiskarte sa Chess tournament ng Intramurals 2023

Nang mautakan nila ang kanilang mga kalaban, nag-uwi ng mga gintong medalya ang CEng Tigers sa Chess tournament ng Intramural Games 2023 sa Reading Area ng University Library, ika-27 ng Abril.

Dalawampu’t pitong (27) lalaki at 16 na babae mula sa iba’t ibang departamento ang naglaban-laban sa matinding pautakan na Swiss System format sa loob ng pitong rounds.

Nakamit nina Jericho Jordan Resico at Angelica Nica Esplana ang unang pwesto sa kani-kanilang kategorya matapos maitala ni Resico ang anim at kalahati (6.5) na puntos habang pitong (7) puntos naman ang nakopo ni Esplana.

Nakuha naman ni Vince Orellano mula sa CME Puma ang ikalawang pwesto sa mga lalaking manlalaro sa kaniyang anim (6) na puntos na sinundan ni Josh Al Lei Umali ng CED Jaguars sa ikatlong pwesto na may limang (5) puntos.

Natapos naman nina Shyra Munar mula sa CAFA Panthers at Erika Espiritu mula sa CIHTM Bobcat ang ikalawa at ikatlong pwesto sa mga babaeng kalahok matapos kapwa makakuha ng limang puntos.
