CAS’ Holiday Band blasts their way to BTOB supremacy

With their excellent display of musical mastery, College of Arts and Sciences’ Holiday Band emerged victorious in the Battle of the Bands competition held at the University Gymnasium, on Feb 8.

Holiday Band ignited the MSEUF community with their rendition of the Up Dharma Down’s hit, Tadhana before enchanting the crowd with their original composition entitled Salamisim.

Meanwhile, the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology’s Parokya ni Lombroso earned a second-place finish singing Bamboo’s Tatsulok and their original Salamat, Mahal.

While the College of Education’s MAESTRO clinched third-place recognition with Palasyong Puti and Abra/Gracenote’s Ilusyon.

Moreover, Back to Basics, The Alia Rebuild, BakaJuan PH, Ippo Huwano, and Tone of Rapture also hit the center stage as the event’s guest performers.

The competing bands in the much-anticipated event of the Foundation week were judged based on their performances that included one cover song, and one original composition.
