Due to the COVID-19 infections recorded among faculties and employees, MSEUF Medical and Dental Services are strengthening their measures to fight and prevent the spread of the virus.

Now that the university holds face-to-face classes in several courses, MDS has implemented strict daily health assessments at the designated Triage Area in Gate 2.

Employees, faculties, students, and guests answer questions about their health status before entering the premises of the university.

Anyone who answers ‘yes’ to any questions from the questionnaire given will not be permitted to enter the university.

People with symptoms are instructed to go home and quarantine, monitored by the MDS team, for days depending on the assessment of the University Physicians. Medications are prescribed to these individuals when necessary.

MDS also encourages its colleagues to report other faculty and employees experiencing COVID-like signs and symptoms through their Facebook page and mobile numbers.

Online consultation through the MSEUF Medical & Dental Services Facebook page is also available to employees and students.

Meanwhile, MDS reminds faculties and staff not to be afraid of quarantine but to be concerned about the risk it poses to the health of people around them.

“Do not fear quarantine; be concerned for your colleagues and their families instead,” MDS and HSO reminded.
