Two Envergans conquered the stage of the first-ever virtual pageant held in Quezon, besting 15 contestants from other municipalities and delighting their hometowns.
The virtual pageant catered to selected ladies of Bondoc Peninsula. Mulanay’s Gracelle Nicole Aseoche was named Bb. Bondoc Peninsula 2020 after a series of portions. The 20-year-old Binibini is a varsity lawn tennis player at MSEUF. She is also involved in the campus publication as a photojournalist. Aseoche had completed various pageants before and this event was hers. She was also sashed best in a long gown.
“It hasn’t completely sunken yet! I was asked how I prepared for it… I focused on improving my endurance… and my mental strength as well. I needed to disregard all of the negative voices inside my head and nervousness about what could be holding me back. I had to face it with the guidance of the Lord, his will, and blessing me with the right people… was his gift to me. So that I could become a better version of myself… I was always a runner-up back then. [But] through the years of my experiences I learned a lot and taught myself that there’s more to improve in every pageant,” said Aseoche regarding her victory.
The crown is the latest addition to her list of achievements which includes: Mutya ng PRISAA 2020, Binibining Calauag 2018, Binibining AGHAM 2018, and Ms. Quezon Runway 2017.
Zandra Mae Diokno of Padre Burgos and the Fraternity Sweetheart of the Honor Society of the Lambda Kappa Phi seconded Aseoche and was regarded as Bb. Bondoc Peninsula Kalilayan 2020.</p>
Aseoche’s court included Bb. Bondoc Peninsula Tourism 2020, Megan Tan of Catanauan. Furthermore, Bea Almoneda of San Andres and Anje Mae Manipol of Unisan was named 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up, respectively.
