UCSC, KNY-Lucena create donation drive for ‘Kristine’ victims

University Collegiate Student Council (UCSC), together with Kaya Natin! Youth (KNY) – Lucena organized a donation drive to raise in-kind donations at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF), following the damage caused by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine in Quezon province.

In their Facebook post, the UCSC called for in-kind donations from October 24 to 28, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., at their office located in the Office of Student Affairs and Services Building.

The donations may include food, water, hygiene essentials, non-prescription medicines, clothes, blankets, umbrellas, flashlights, batteries, and similar items.

Meanwhile, the College of Engineering Department Student Council, along with student organizations Political Science Society and the MSEUF Community Society, promoted the ongoing donation drives on their Facebook pages and personal accounts, encouraging students to participate in this community-led effort.

For monetary donations, KNY-Lucena also posted their official G-Cash and PayMaya accounts (09215887449, Josh Nycole Ondevilla) and Landbank account (2616169303, Reign Jansen De Silva).

Moreover, the student organization Juris Peritus Criminis (JPC) also organized its own donation drive in partnership with the Kaya Natin! Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership.

The donation drop-off location for JPC is the JPC Student Org Room, located in the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology Building. For more details, please message their official Facebook page.

Along with this, the student organization Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines – Quezon Student Chapter also promoted their own donation drive via their GCash account (09284401410).

While the university has announced the cancellation of classes on October 24 due to ‘Kristine’, office transactions will continue, allowing students to freely participate in the said initiative.
