Here are the latest updates for the Basketball Men’s and Women’s Division of the Intramural Games 2024 happening at the University Gymnasium:

GAME 16. In an intense rebound streak, CEng Tigers clutched it out against CEd Jaguars turning the tides of the game following a 3-quarter skirmish for points, garnering 35 points in the last quarter ending with a clear gap of 81-66.

GAME 15. CCJC remains impenetrable in their rapid streak for the championship earning their spot for the finals in a runaway win against CME Pumas closing off the game with a score of 65-47.

GAME 14. Keeping the momentum going, CEd jaguars are in full swing advancing to the next round ending CIHTM Bobcats’ run in a drubbing victory ending the match with a score of 85-69.

GAME 13. Pouncing back into the competition, CEng Tigers snowball the one-sided match against the CCMS Sabertooths, securing the win with a 35-point advantage, 45-80.

GAME 12. CEd Jaguars hinder the CNAHS Leopards any room to breath with a relentlessly close match, failing to close the gap in the last quarter ending the game in the Jaguar’s favor, 57-65.

GAME 11. CCMS Sabertooths’ powerplay foils CBA Lions’ ambitious comeback on the 2nd quarter’s 20-point setback, obtaining a 3-point lead by the 4th quarter, 63-60. (Report by Herbert Ordiz)

GAME 10. Men’s Basketball defending champions CCJC Cheetahs halts CEng Tigers’ dramatic push, enough to snatch the win with a 5-point edge, 75-70. (Report by Herbert Ordiz)

GAME 9. Three OTs and a heart-stopping showdown, CME Puma clawed their way out against CIHTM Bobcats’ unyielding spirit, triumphant amidst fierce contest, 84-82. (Report by Herbert Ordiz)

GAME 16. CIHTM Bobcats triumphant as strategy prevails against CNAHS Leopards’ desparate push, guaranteed to contest spot for finals against CEng Tigers. 32-22.

GAME 15. CCJC Cheetahs’ repels CEng Tigers, dulls Tigers’ attempt to pounce back from first-quarter blow by a 25-point lead. 41-16

GAME 14. CME Puma’s relentless drive falls short against Women’s Basketball defending champion CIHTM Bobcats. Bobcats hold on to first-half lead enough to secure win, 29-18.

GAME 13. CNAHS Leopards and CCMS Sabertooths exchange shots in their matchup. The Leopards’ dominating play batters the latter with a 23-point blowout, 41-18.

GAME 12. Women’s Basketball defending champions CIHTM Bobcats shuts down CBA Lions with an impressive victory with a 19-point margin, 26-7.
