Pitong natatanging alumni ng MSEUF, pinarangalan

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng ika-77 na Baccalaureate Services at Commencement Exercise, nagbigay-pugay sa pitong natatanging alumni ang Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, Lucena City, Hunyo 25 at 28.

Sa dalawang magkahiwalay na seremonya na isinagawa sa University Gymnasium, ika-25 at ika-28 ng Hunyo, kinilala ang mga alumni dahil sa kanilang kontribusyon sa kani-kanilang larangan.

Sa Cluster 1, iginawad ang parangal na Most Distinguished Alumni 2024 kina PCol. Madeline D. Cacao, Atty. Rachel Uy-San Juan, Jasmine F. Viray, Dr. Melchor P. Avenilla Jr., at Dr. Juanito A. Merle.

“PCol. Cacao’s academic and professional journey exemplifies the idealsof the late founder, Manuel S. Enverga, showcasing her commitment to community development and the upholding of professional integrity within the Philippine National Police,” pagkilala kay College of Arts and Science’s Most Distinguished Alumna 2024 PCol. Cacao na nagtapos ng AB Political Science noong 1995 at isa sa mga kinatawan ng mga kababaihan sa hanay ng mga kapulisan.

Tanda naman ng kaniyang galing na kinilala sa isang sikat na business magazine, natatanging kontribusyon sa larangan ng corporate law at accountancy at pagiging aktibong alumna ng pamantasan at College of Business and Accountancy, iginawad ang parangal kay Atty. Uy-San Juan na nagtapos bilang Magna Cum Laude ng BS in Accountancy.

Sa pagkilala naman kay Jasmine F. Viray na alumna ng College of Education, binigyang-pugay ng MSEUF ang kaniyang mga nagawa, partikular sa pagpapaunlad ng edukasyon para sa mga indibidwal na may espesyal na pangangailangan hindi lamang sa Pilipinas pati na rin sa New York, United States.

Bilang pasasalamat naman sa kanyang pagtulong sa pagpapalaganap ng kaligtasan sa Envergan Community at pagsasagawa ng mga pagsasanay para sa mga mag-aaral at kawani ng pamantasan, natanggap din ng part-time faculty ng College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences na si Dr. Avenilla Jr. ang naturang parangal.

“Dr. Merle leads by example, embodying the principles he advocates. His actions speak volumes, consistently aligning with his words and serving as a guiding light in model educator and a true agent of change, ” pagpapakilala naman kay Metrobank Outstanding Awardee, Quezon Medalya ng Karangalan Awardee at Most Distinguished Alumni 2024 na si Dr. Merle ng Institute of Graduate Studies and Research.

Bukod sa limang alumni na kinilala sa Cluster 1, binigyang-parangal din sa Baccalaureate Services ng Cluster 2 sina Cherry Villamarzo-David mula sa College of Computing and Multimedia Studies at Engr. Guillermo M. Rago Jr. mula sa College of Engineering (CEng).

“David’s leadership in her role underscores her profound impact and dedication to the [Information Technology] industry. Mrs. David’s career is a confirmation of her resilience and proficiency…as an alumna, she actively contributes to the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies, engaging as a resource person and participating in curriculum development programs,” pagpapakilala kay David na 2001 Cum Laude ng BS in Information Technology.

Samantala, huling binigyan ng parangal si Engr. Rago na Magna Cum Laude ng BS in Civil Engineering noong 1981, Masters in Business Administration noong 1987 at Masters in Management major in Engineering. Sa 38 taon niyang serbisyo bilang Dekano ng CEng, naging “beacon of excellence” ang kolehiyo na mayroong “globally competitive” at “highly sought after” na mga alumni.

Kalakip ang plaque at trophy, ang parangal na Most Distinguished Alumni 2024 ay isinagawa ng pamantasan upang bigyang pagkilala ang mga natatangin graduate na nagpamalas ng husay sa iba’t ibang larangan.
