The Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) held a socially distanced mass to honor the feast day of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, led by Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Maaño at the newly enhanced Kalayaan Hall near the OSA Building on Oct. 07.

Officials and other faculty members of the university attended the mass and offered gifts.

After the mass, guests witnessed the blessing of the renovated Kalayaan Hall.

Architect Jennifer Sanchez, Dean of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA), designed the hall, while Engr. Guillermo Rago Jr., Dean of the College of Engineering (CEng), and Dr. Rosario C. Rago, Director of OSAS, supervised the renovation.

There were new paints, tiles, roofs, and barriers around the area of the hall.

Moreover, the day also marked the 65th birthday celebration of Mrs. Rago.

Mrs. Rago thanked all the attendees at the event and also acknowledged the completion of the enhanced Kalayaan Hall.

“Thank you for attending the program. The enhanced hall highlighted another achievement of the office. Students will have their new place to go once face-to-face classes are allowed,” Rago said.
