Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF), through its College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNAS) department and student organizations, lends a hand to 150 members of the community in Barangay Dalahican in a Medical Mission held at the Covered Court, Feb 9.
Barangay residents were provided services including medical consultation and prescription of medicines aside from the distribution of proper and potent medicines from kids to adults.
During the activity, Dr. Melo M. Justiniano, Medical and Dental Services Chief, briefed the residents about the process of the medical mission and why it is important to assess the individual’s health history, status, and condition.
“Our purpose of coming here is to extend help and assistance to your health needs. We encourage everyone to give priority to their health and safety,” activity chairperson, Sophia Abaca, said.
“Hindi lang tayo sa Envergans nagbibigay ng serbisyo pati rin sa ating komunidad,” she added.
Meanwhile, in his opening remarks, Barangay Dalahican Chairman Roderick Macinas reiterated that MSEUF has always been close to his heart and that he is thankful that they get to partner with the university in the conduct of this event.
