Marian Crusaders of Maryhill College Lucena dug deep into its volleyball program as they garnered three (3) gold medals and one (1) silver medal in all four (4) categories of the PRISAA Quezon Chapter Meet 2023 Volleyball held at the MSEUF Covered Court, Mar. 22-24.

In the Boy’s division, Crusaders bested MSEUF Candelaria in their final matchup claiming a gold medal finish. With this, EU-Candelaria earned the silver medal, while the Calayan Educational Foundation Inc. (CEFI) team secured the bronze.

The girl’s division only saw MSEUF Candelaria and Maryhill College battle for the throne, with Maryhill coming out on top. Maryhill also came on top in the men’s division, winning a game against EU-Catanauan in Game five (5), against CEFI in Game nine (9), and against CSTC in Games 15 and 18.

With a twice-to-beat advantage gained during Game 15 against CSTC, MC Crusaders men’s volleyball team secured the gold medal. CSTC, on the other hand, placed 2nd, and CEFI earned 3rd place.

Meanwhile, Maryhill earned a silver medal in the women’s division, with CEFI women’s team outsmarting them to clinch the gold and CSTC earning the bronze.
