The communication department will further the film landscape in Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation as it is set to launch a film exhibit titled Lente: bayan at kultura on December 6 at the AEC Little Theatre with four documentary films and one narrative film.
With its goal to preserve and promote culture and patriotism among students and professionals, five stories unique to the Filipino masses will be showcased in Lente’s first film exhibit.
Three 20- to 30-minute documentary films and one narrative film with the same time length will be presented by 3rd and 4th year Bachelor of Arts in Communication students as a partial fulfillment for their respective courses.
Four production houses are expected to exhibit their films including “Bulungan sa Dalahican” by Uno Dos Tres Productions, “Feliza” by Otso Productions, “Kayong Mapagbalatkayo” by Press Productions, and “Pananaw” by Diez Productions.
Meanwhile, The Luzonian will air its first narrative documentary titled, “Tita Edith”, a narrative documentary, as a special exhibition film under Dael Originals.
Lente 2023 is in collaboration with MSEUF Communication Society, College of Arts and Sciences Council of Officers, The Luzonian, and Radio Pilipinas Lucena.
The film viewing is free to all interested college and high school students.
The production staff of Lente plugged the film exhibition on Radio Pilipinas Lucena last November 27 as a part of their media promotions.
