Kaya’t sa kinatagala’y damdamin ay napalayo
Tila yata ako’y nakalimot
Sa init ng yakap na dala ng aking kumot
Kaya’t pagkatakot sa aki’y bumalot
Sa kinatagala’y ako’y muling napagod
At nang muling mahimlay
Ay may kumot nang nakalagay
