Festive Coronation: EU crowns and parades Miss Enverga victors

To give due recognition to the winners of Miss Enverga University 2022, and as part of the 75th founding anniversary celebration, MSEUF crowns 8 winners (title holders and runners-up), in the recently concluded Coronation Day at the University Gymnasium, on May 27.

After the opening remarks given by Mr. Celso Jaballa, VP for External Relations, the crowning ceremony took off. The title holders for Miss Enverga 2022 in order of coronation were: Ulycel Mae Herrera (MSEUF Lucena) Miss Enverga Junior High School 2022;  Reyn Angeli Amparo (MSEUF Candelaria) – Miss Enverga Senior High School 2022;  Gracelle Nicole Distura (College of Education) – Miss Enverga University 2022.

Meanwhile, the following were the runners-up in order of coronation: Kristiane Margaret Robles (MSEUF Candelaria) – Miss Enverga JHS First runner-up; Queen Rose Ann Argano (MSEUF Calauag) – Miss Enverga SHS First runner up; Angelica Denise Abadicio (College of Computing and Multimedia Studies) – Miss EU 2022 Third runner up; Princess Andrea Bajaj (College of Criminal Justice and Criminology) – Miss EU 2022 Second runner up; and Jumelle Oseña (College of International Hospitality and Tourism) – First runner up.  Miss Enverga University 2021, Ashley Villaverde also attended the event where she passed her crown onto Distura.

The newly crowned queens were then featured in a “Flores de Mayo” procession, along with EU employees and officials. Starting from the University Gymnasium, the parade ended in the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) building, where the queens and other participants, led by Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Maaño, the university chaplain, offered flowers in honor of the Virgin Mary. The event concluded with closing remarks delivered by Claudia Ayala, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
