Enverga University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (EUJPIA) is one of the accredited organizations of the university and has recently been acknowledged as the “most active accredited organization” by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS).

The student organization always tries to be the best in academics, non-academics, and community service. It is one of the few certified local chapters of the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants that serves as a route to excellence and a training ground for young accountants.

ACADEMIC AND NON-ACADEMIC PROWESS

Being a member of JPIA entails more than simply being an accounting student; it involves being a well-rounded student in academics and non-academics.

Initiated from October to December, AccountFlix is an academic webinar series under “FLIX IT!” that provides the most up-to-date information and assessments on accounting board topics. It is a sequence of events in which JPIAns may encounter accounting subjects that will help them comprehend, remember, and retain the lessons.

An event in November called “MATCHFLIX 2021” was organized by the EUJPIA Non-academic department to encourage young professionals to strengthen their leadership and communication abilities via online gaming tournaments and other non-academic activities.

COMMUNITY AND SOCIO-CIVIC INVOLVEMENT

To be a part of JPIA is to become more than just an accounting student; it is to become part of a community. In December, EUJPIA launched ADHIKA 2021: A Christmas Gift-giving Project for Frontliners, a community extension service activity.

This activity seeks to express sincere thanks to the frontline workers who have worked tirelessly to protect the safety and tranquility of the community during the crisis.

EUJPIA-CES hopes that many people will join and give a little bit of blessing by presenting them with a simple Christmas gift that includes rice, a spaghetti bundle, and a hygiene kit. The intended beneficiaries include jeepney and tricycle drivers, as well as security guards at businesses in Lucena City, Quezon.
