EU Lucena athletes finish as champs in PRISAA 2023 Athletic events

Athletes from various private schools raced to the top during the PRISAA Quezon Chapter Meet 2023 track and field events at the Quezon National High School Oval on Mar. 23.

During the Men’s Discuss Throw, Curt Abueg (Maryhill College) placed 1st, Jonathan Villania (QECI) placed 2nd, and Jeremi Endiape (MSEUF-Lucena) bagged 3rd.

In addition, Haiddie Dimaala (Maryhill College) was hailed 1st, Ivy Vianca Castillo (STI College Lucena) got 2nd, and Arnella Tan (Maryhill) placed 3rd in the women’s category.

Meanwhile, in the Shotput Men’s category, Jeremi Endiape (MSEUF-Lucena) claimed 1st, Johnrey Zoleta (SACLI) bagged 2nd, and Cedric Amador (IGCFI) placed 3rd. In the women’s category, Haiddie Dimaala (Maryhill) bagged 1st, Ivy Vianca Castillo (STI College Lucena) claimed 2nd, and Arnella Tan (Maryhill) got 3rd.

Furthermore, in the Men’s category of Javelin Throw, Septher Esguerra (IGCFI) placed 1st, Jonathan Villania (QECI) got 2nd, and Jeremi Endiape (MSEUF Lucena) claimed 3rd.

At the same time, Reyann Malto (Maryhill) won 1st, Temothy Arambulo (MSEUF Lucena) claimed 2nd, and Ivy Vianca Castillo (STI College Lucena) placed 3rd in the women’s category. Also, Luke Liane Salamante (MSEUF Lucena) claimed 1st in the Men’s Long Jump Category, while Septher Esguerra (IGCFI) placed 2nd, and Benji Rins (Maryhill) got 3rd. Liean Rojas (MSEUF Lucena) grabbed 1st during the Long Jump Women’s category, Arnella Tan (Maryhill) placed 2nd, and Jasmine Parcero (IGCFI) got 3rd.

In the Men’s Triple Jump, Luke Salamante (MSEUF Lucena) claimed 1st, Septher Esguerra (IGCFI) placed 2nd, and Vince Jayona (IGCFI) hailed 3rd. Also, Liean Rojas (MSEUF Lucena), the lone competitor, placed 1st in the women’s category.

On the other hand, during the 100 Meters-Men, Vince Oblefias (IGCFI) finished 1st, Clark Niogan (MSEUF Lucena) was hailed 2nd, and Benji Rins (Maryhill) got 3rd. In the 200 Meters-Mens category, Vince Oblefias (IGCFI) raced 1st, Butch Loverez (MSEUF Lucena) claimed 2nd, and Benji Rins (Maryhill) hailed 3rd.

At the same time, Vince Oblefias (IGCFI) got 1st, Eddie Gutierez (MSEUF Lucena) hailed 2nd, and Nikko Recto (Maryhill) claimed 3rd in the men’s 400 Meters category.

Butch Loverez (MSEUF Lucena) finished 1st in the Men’s 800 Meters Category while Emmanuel Elida (IGCFI) got 2nd, and Eddie Gutierez (MSEUF Lucena) claimed 3rd. Jay Arnel Ramos (Maryhill) raced 1st in the 5000 Meters, Alen Punzalan (Maryhill) in 2nd, and Darwin Solomon (MSEUF Lucena) placed 3rd.

In the 4×100 meters relay, MSEUF-Lucena placed 1st, IGCFI got 2nd, and Maryhill finished 3rd, while in the 4×400 meters relay, IGCFI placed 1st, MSEUF-Lucena got 2nd, and Maryhill claimed 3rd. Meanwhile, in Track events for women, 100 meters, Rey Ann Bustilla (Maryhill) placed 1st, Leian Rojas (MSEUF Lucena) got 2nd, and Maria Soffia Matoceños (IGCFI) hailed 3rd.

In 200 Meters, Rey Ann Bustilla (Maryhill) finished 1st, Danielle Javier (MSEUF Lucena) got 2nd, and Brennah Gabiola (MSEUF Lucena) claimed 3rd.

In 400 Meters, Danielle Javier (MSEUF Lucena) finished 1st, Shaira Dela Cruz (QECI) got 2nd, and Kyla Andal (Maryhill) claimed 3rd. Furthermore, in the 800 meters, Donna Jane Purogganon (QECI) grabbed 1st, Shaira Dela Cruz (QECI) got 2nd, and Jasmine Parcero (IGCFI) finished 3rd.

Meanwhile, Donna Jane Purogganon (QECI) raced 1st, and Honey Grace Cabuyao (MSEUF Lucena) got 2nd in the 3000 meters. In the 4×100 meters relay, MSEUF-Lucena landed 1st place, Maryhill placed 2nd, and IGCFI finished 3rd; while in the 4 x 400 relay, MSEUF-Lucena got 1st, Maryhill hailed 2nd, and IGCFI claimed 3rd.

Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation-Lucena City athletes raced first in the overall track and field events after they bested their rivals with 35 medals; 18 golds, 12 silvers, and five (5) bronze.
