Viana emerges as Miss Enverga University ’24; secures back-to-back win for BED-SHS

Miss Senior High School – Basic Education Department (SHS-BED) Rueil Viana Montserrat representing East Timor was hailed as Miss Enverga University 2024 after the coronation night on Feb. 16 at the University Gymnasium, a back-to-back win for her department.

Aside from the title, Viana also won the Best in ASEAN National Costume, Best in Swimsuit, and Best in Long Gown.

Maria Louise Cassandra Abella from the College of Arts and Sciences representing Indonesia bagged 1st Runner-Up, College of Business and Accountancy’s Elmira Silva embodying Malaysia snagged 2nd Runner-Up, and Arianne Kristel Sapul symbolizing Philippines won 3rd Runner-Up.

In her winning answer, Viana mentioned that true beauty is excellence, empowerment, and education through confidence.

She also said that she would use her platform to promote inclusivity that raises social justice as well as equal opportunities amongst each other while having to integrate interconnectivity through empowerment.

Eleven queens vied for the Ms. Enverga University 2024 title, and competed for the National Costume, Swimwear, and Long Gown competitions during the coronation night.

The candidates represented 11 ASEAN countries, in line with the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s 77th Founding Anniversary Celebration’s theme, ‘Beyond Borders: A Journey of 77 Years of MSEUF Excellence Towards ASEAN Harmony.’

Viana is expected to represent the University in the Private Schools Athletic Association Quezon Chapter this year.
