Patricia Mae Caringal, representing the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies (CCMS), emerged as the newest Miss Enverga University, giving her department another crown after 24 years.

Caringal astonished the audience and judges with her powerful look, fiery performance, and eloquent answer in the Miss Enverga University 2025 coronation night at the University Gymnasium, Feb. 11.

In an interview, Caringal said she cannot believe that she won the crown and it was quite unexpected for her, especially that the lineup of queens in this year’s pageant were the best of the best.

“Hindi po [ako nag-expect to win the crown] pero syempre may konting [expectation]… then nung [tinawag yung number ko sa top 4 finalists], nasa isip ko po na ‘ay game na tayo’,” Caringal answered.

Caringal also thanked her department, her friends, and God who she said was essential in her journey as a queen.

Meanwhile, Basic Education Department – Senior High School (BEd-SHS) queen Angeline Vergara was hailed as first runner up, College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) representative Leanne Miller was crowned 2nd runner up, and College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) ambassadress Hashley Joy Limpo was named 3rd runner up.

Aside from the crown, Caringal also bagged the Miss Markcafe award while fellow queen Limpo was awarded Miss Campus Smile, Best in Production Number, Best in Swimwear, Best in Advocacy, and Best in Long Gown.

Other special awards such as Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality were given to College of Engineering’s Cristine Dudas.

Caringal gave CCMS another crown after Mary Claire So, an IT student, bagged the same crown 24 years ago at the University’s 54th Foundation Anniversary Celebration.
