The Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation released a new version of the university handbook which will be used for the new academic year 2022-2023 for the Hybrid-Flexible Learning modality being implemented by the school amid the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Roderick Rabina, the Prefect of Discipline and Coordinator for the Office of Student Organizations, said that the provisions in the 2018 edition were modified in response to the ongoing health crisis.
According to him, some of the the adapted parts were services normally given to students physically were administered online, such as guidance and counseling, health services, and activities of student organizations among others.
Others were implemented during the conduct of limited face-to-face, such as a one-way policy on classrooms and laboratories, and designated dining and waiting areas around various areas on the campus. Regulations on sanctions, prohibitions, and other rules remained the same even during the pandemic.
Mr. Rabina also stated that the former handbook released in 2018 may be reinstated if the full residential classes are implemented by the Commission on Higher Education in the coming year.
